I can buy extra virgin olive oil at 0.8% acidity or 0.4% – which is better?

  2. Flax   |  Monday, 17 January 2011 at 9:49 pm

Olive oil that has an acidity of higher than 0.5% is considered rancid. You should always try to buy olive oil with 0.5% acidity or less.

2 jewish labour sources: Meshek Achiya 0.8% extra virgin olive oil brought to your home by shalemgoods here in Efrat by ?Avi on 052-8655690 available in 1liter, 5 liter and more and now I have seen 0.4% organic extra virgin olive oil by Einot kedem and available form the makolet in Bat Ayin or call David 054-843-6373 available in 750ml, 1 liter or 5 liter – cheaper than Meshek achiya.
    Any comments?

How do you ask for gozi berries in Hebrew?
    Thanks in advance.

Gozi berries in hebrew are Gozi. If the store carries them, they will know what you are asking for.

    Hi Feygeh Sarah,

Thank you for the wonderful feedback. To join my mailing list click on the RSS Feed button located at the top right of the screen.

You can switch the polenta with rice or with rice noodles, just adjust the water accordingly with the rice, use 11 1/2 cups water and 1 cup coconut milk, with rice noodles, presoak and just add them to the mix.

I read about your celery soup to help an overworked spleen, and I made some this morning. I felt really great afterwards! So my question is, how soon should I eat it again? Is it an every day kind of thing, or once a week, or something in between?
    Thank you, Bhadra
